Chickasaw is a city in Mobile County, Alabama, United States. As of the 2010 U.S. Census the population is 6,106, a decline from 6,364 in 2000. It is included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area.
Chickasaw is located at 30°45′54″N 88°05′01″W. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.6 square miles (12 km²), of which 4.4 square miles (11 km²) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km²) (3.06%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,364 people, 2,747 households, and 1,747 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,436.3 people per square mile (554.7/km²). There were 2,989 housing units at an average density of 674.6 per square mile (260.5/km²).
